Reviews for Tribal Affairs

Wow! This book was not what I expected. When I saw this book come up on the blog tour I wasn’t sure. I read the blurb and looked at the book cover and I wasn’t going to take part but the book kept coming back to me.... There best be more books to come on this story, I need to know what happens next!! I completely adored this book and it was like the magic of the genies I was drawn into it.

This is the freshest magic I've read in forever. I like stories that take a common myth and go further with it. This novel took everything about charmed jewelry and djinns and genies to an entirely new level for me. I read it in one sitting because I could not stop. If this is the subject matter you also find interesting, then this is your cup of tea, and come thirsty!

In simple sentences, the normal fantasy storyline is what the book is all about. But, purely by his imaginative story and narration, the author manages to elevate a normal stereotype to something really interesting, holding my interest in every page, making me turn pages with a focused intensity that wanted to know more… A brilliant, refreshing book that manages to stay fresh despite belonging to an often misused / misrepresented genre.
